Hi I posted this in the subwoofer section bit game had no response so hope it's ok to post here ?

Hi all, have just installed a new yamaha receiver but for some reason the sub only come on after a the system has been running for a while ? Never had this problem when it was connected to my marantz receiver, the speakers are kef eggs with a kef sub. It's set up for small speakers and the bass crossover is set at 100hz but have tried this between 60hz and 120hz but no luck. The light on the sub stays red until it decides to play ball and them turns green. Once it's on it stays on and world perfectly it's just getting it to come on on the first place ! I thought it should switch on when the receiver is turned on ?? Hope someone can help

    Neal
