I've got a slight dilema at the moment. I can't find a happy medium for my subwoofer level.
The problem I have is that some movie sound tracks are quite lfe heavy while others sound quite lite.
The sub level on my Pioneer is at the moment set to -5 db, about 4 db less than my fronts (-1) and my crossover is set to 80 hz. (All speakers are calibrated to 75db)
Just curious to how some of you have your sub set up in relation to your fronts?

    Cheers

Both my fronts are set to 0 and my sub is set on -8 for dts/dd and -4 for tv (prologic2). For cd stereo playback is at -6. My denon alows me to specify for each function so after a bit of playing about settled on the above.

Doublecheck that because the Denon's will lump Dolby/DTS/PL2 as one mode, if you change the SW channel level for one it will have a knock-on effect for the others. Stereo/Direct etc can be adjusted seperately.:)

When you are in each mode, press the Ch Vol button on the front panel and then cycle thru the options until SW appears then adjust up or down using the select button. Hopefully this is right as my current Denon has a different way of doing this.:)
