    Sub help used Adam sub 10 mk2 or BK XXLS400
    Hi i looking into upgrading my audio setup by adding a subwoofer.

    My current setup is ELAC B6 at front, Elac B5 as rears powered by Denon avr x2300w.

    The two subs i'm looking at is the:

    BK XXLS400 : XXLS400-DF

    OR

    Adam Audio SUB10 MK2: ADAM Audio - Sub10 MK2 Active Studio Subwoofer

    The Adam Audio is used and will be about £100 to £120 pound cheaper than the BK XXLS400 at £449, the adam audio is around £849 brand new.

    I use my setup from Music, Films and gaming, just wondering which is the better option thanks.

    I would play it safe and go with new. Never know with electronics.. You can probably get the XXLS400 for 390£ and P12-300SB for 330£ + delivery 26£ or so, that is if you can accept the basic colours (satin black or oak). Just need to call BK and ask grade b options. Here is couple, but there might be more and cheaper ones(call!);

    I've not heard of the Adam sub, and on paper I'm struggling to see why its new price is as high as it appears to be?

    Depending exactly what your budget is I wonder if an XTZ 10.17 or 12.17 might be worth considering too? The 12.17 has a good reputation here but I've not heard anybody comment on the cheaper 10.17.
