Hi, before I order a CHT10 from uncle eric, I just wanted to know about connectivity.

A low level cable will deal with home cinema, but what about 2 channel music?

If I use the high level inputs then won't I get double the bass when watching a DVD?

Is it a case of unplugging/swapping connections when swapping sources?

If anyone has a clue what I am banging on about and can help I would be very grateful.

The low level connector should deal with two channel music as well. Just tell the amp that you have small fronts and all bass will be redirected to the sub.

Depends on the Amp too and which DACs you want to use for decoding the CD.
    BUT...
Basically and to cut this short, I would use a low level signal for both.
