OK guys i have to make a decision on a sub this week i have the money (sort of) Short list above! PLease voted for the sub that you think would be the best value for money (choice is limited) Speakers are cheap nasties till i can afford what i want Hoping for B&W DM601s3 fronts and maybe LCR60 centre fronts in 12 months cetre when i get a display that warrants it.
Original idea was MS309. but I'll see what you guys think!

Wouldn't it make sense to buy the speakers first and the subwoofer second???

The MJ Pro 50 gets my vote. Shame, as you just missed one for £150 in the classifieds...

you think the 907 is better than the 309 ? can i ask why,
reason for not getting speakers is the room and TV couldnt cope 601 are viable option if i cant get a sub but lots of hassle! odd way of doing things but thats me!!!!

PS i like the way everyone votes for the most expensive and hard to get hold of sub!!!!

...and may I suggest that if you're going for the Pro 50 you spend £50 extra and get the Reference 100 instead? :D

Very good advice MuFu, Reference 100 is noticeably better than the Pro 50.

ITs a tricky situation! due to where i work! and my budget, this may seem rather cryptic but i cant post my budget as it would give too much away.....

You could try and get one of the few remaining BK XLS-200s. They're far better than either of the MJ subs (and cheaper too).
