    Hi,

I'm looking for a Sub £300 LCD 15" TV with SCART & 1024x768 PC capability. What should I buy?. It's something for the bedroom so I'm not looking for home cinema quality.

If I'm being to tight tell me what I should be spending and what I should be buying.

    Thanks

    Steve

Richer Sounds are selling a Relysis 15" for £199 (No scart but you can use RGB) but dunno what the quality is like. You can pick up the LG 15" screens for under £300 but not sure as to the connectivity. I just bought a 17" DMTECH for £350 and I am happy with in although other forum users don't rate it so highly.

Just bought one of these Relysis from Richer Sounds for £199.
Plenty good enough picture quality for bedroom, plenty of brightness & contrast (500:1) and a respectable 15ms response time.
No scart at all though but does have phonos for composite video, audio and component video plus s-video socket and a PC VGA connector, comes with NICAM stereo Picture In Picture with a PC input.
Downside is that sound although unusually for very small speakers is good quality it is not very loud even at max. setting.
Also takes what seems like hours (probably about 5-7 mins) to scan the entire VHF/UHF band to store channels which you then have to re-order yourself.
Not too much of a problem for most people but I intend to take mine away in my caravan in the summer which means a slow retune every time I arrive in a different transmission area because you cannot retune individual channels.
Can't say about reliability yet cos only had it since Wednesday.

TV for my caravan, :hiya: Looking for a small but 14'' plus up to 19'' widescreen lcd that will run with hdtv so can also use at home with sky hdtv esp until i get a really big tv in jan Just read the slow tuning bit with interest as I am not v good at tuning --esp every time it moves...also the weight needs to be v low also I could live with a built in dvd player - but for very cheap 250 or less anyone any reccommendations?
pricerunner only had one a 19'' wt 4.5 kilo with dvd player from argos
