Hey guys i am looking for a decent Camcorder for under £250, i have been looking at the Panny NV-GS17 for a mere £200 and it looks pretty good for the price.

But i was just wondering if there are any others that i have not found, in all honesty i have had a decent look but i am sure you guys will be able to advise me on the better quality from the crap ;)

    Hope somone can help

Also i think i am right in thinking that MiniDV is the best format on the market ?, i hear its easier to edit on the computer and its somthing i would like to explore a bit more, it is easy to transfer etc :)

    try this from Dabs.com @ £227.95

    Canon MV800

I got it's bigger brother the 830i last year and found it easy to use and to edit the footage to DVD.
