Hello, My Xbox games don't stutter apart from Halo but I read somewhere that you should go into the settings and swith PAL60 off for Halo! This makes things a lot smoother!

Which games are you having trouble with?

I would call the Microsoft Helpline it's free

I am moving through some of the really graphic heavy San Francisco streets in Project Gotham and the X Box definately stutters in some scenes.

    Bad game design I think.

Not had any stuttering on my box - playing Halo and PGR. Halo does hold for a micro second every now and then as it loads the next section, but its always at a check point so no baddies around.

All versions of Fifa stutter including the xbox one - poor programming is the cause not your machine - I've also had fifa not load properly sometimes, and once freeze midplay - anyone had the same thing? Please everyone don't say it serves me right for buying the game!

yes checked that, there is a couple of little surface scratches though....now if that was a pS1 or 2 game it wouldn't have any effect but maybe the xbox is very sensitive.......anybody?

Stewart are you saying you think my occasional loading freezes are due to the game itself?

Occasional freezes are due to game loading effects. SOme games use the Hard disk to store information. Halo for example when you get to a save section the game pauses slightly.

I am talking about stuttering, this is not a hard disk swapping mechanism, it happens when the X Box is working at it's hardest.
