This country is going to the dogs. My SE W810i phone stopped working spontaneously a couple of weeks ago, cam up with a message on the screen saying Configuration Error, please contact your Service Provider. I did this and was advised to go to an O2 shop. The phone would still receive calls, texts etc. At the shop they said it needed the software reinstalled, and they sent it away for this. I got a message on my answerphone last night to say the phone had been returned "Beyond Economical Repair" because of water ingress. It's never been in any water, but they mention crap like rain or condensation. A photo of the insides had been taken with little arrows pointing out the water damage....well, there clearly wasn't any. This is just a company screwing the system. To prove the point, I put my SIM card back in the phone and it works fine, having had a software reinstall. I have insurance on the phone and hav already arranged a replacement free of charge. I wonder how many other people, without insurance have been left with this cock and bull story of water ingress ????
