Plays DVD's fine (so far) - but when I put in a CD - and switch my amp to "CD - or prologic" I get a sort of white noise.....

Any Ideas? I suspect the audio settings need to be changed....

    Thanks folks

Yep - I know that much!!

The way my amp is wired, I switch to CD mode - and the 2 x phonos on the back of the dvd go into the cd in on the amp - all preset for the right sound etc....

No the only new thing to this setup is the limit dvd player.....

You may need to change the audio setup on the DVD.

Assuming you don't have DD 5.1 on your amp?

Set it PCM rather than Digital.
