Went to Peter Jones today (a john lewis in london) and they had an HD display running the Sky HD demo DVD on a special media pc. I had a look at the back of the PC and it had 3 x Component out cabels all of whoch seemed to be used. Next to the computer were 2 large displays (Pioner 436RXE and the new sharp 45 inch) which were running the HD demo. I looked at both screens and though the picture looked average at best, so i decided to look behind the screen. Where to my amazment they had plugged them in via RF, not even composite. They even had the the Pio in stretch mode. People were watching this stuff thinking it was HD, if this is common place then I cant see many people wanting to take the jump. P.S. I did find an Hitachi that was showing freeview and noticed it had component leads coming up from the floor that were the same type as plugged into the Sky HD computer. I flicked through the AV imputs and there it was, Sky HD. It looked great, even frum up close.
