Not sure if this is the correct forum, but seemed most appropriate...

I have some video files which are 'squashed up' - 2.35:1 clips in 4:3 ratio.

Is there a program which can stretch them out, back to how they should be? Nothing I've tried so far has been able to resize them in the way I require.

    Thanks.

AFAIK most editing software should do this. When you set up the project just tell it that the video is widescreen and it should stretch it back to the 16:9 format rather than squashed 4:3.

I can get it into 16:9, but not into 2.35:1
