Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Edition

Hi all,

Fist time poster here!

As a 42 year old who hasn’t played video console games since I was 16, I need some help from this new generation!

I recently purchased street fighter 30th edition for my son and I on the PS5, and we are trying to play 2 player against each other.

The PS5 came with one controller and I purchased another which I hooked up to the PS5.

However, on the game, when I select versus, only 2 controller seems to work.

Am I doing something wrong in terms of the controller set up, or is the game not compatible for 2 players versus (which I doubt)

Any help and tips would be much appreciated, as we’d like to play against each other at home. Thank you.

Have you paired the 2nd controller ?
Yes I did,

So when we try to play 2 player, the new controller operates, whilst the original controller (which is the one we have been playing with all this time since we purchased the console) is the one that is idle and doesn’t seem to operate

When you press the power on button on the second controller it will ask who's signing in, choose guest. Otherwise, you're simply making the 2nd controller the primary one.
