    I have a 40Gb PS3 (the one without SACD playback :()

Don't suppose anyone knows if it's possible to stream a ripped SACD to the PS3?

If so which DLNA client supports SACD - WMP11/ (unlikely i guess) TVersity/PMS or a.n.other.

    Anyone tried this before?

As far as I know (and I may be outdated here), it's impossible to rip SACD. If you could, I'd imagine it would be a high bitrate WAV file, which WMP11 or TVersity should play just fine. Sorry I can't be of more help than this!

Right, there's no device that support both SACD and DLNA and if there were it surely wouldn't output high-resolution audio over it.

I could imagine future PS3 models with DLNA support but wonder if it'd have SACD playback.

There is a plug-in for WMP for DSD playback (here) but that's for DSD Disc format, not SACD.
