Presumably you're using Windows Media Player to stream the rest of your files, so use WMP to stream your movies in exactly the same way. Share the folder out, make sure they're named .mpg not .vob and voila.

It all depends on the format of your movies really.

Don't install TVersity then :) It used to automatically setup some streaming feeds, not sure if it does that still, don't think it does.

    What's tvshack ?

You might want to edit the thread title, might attract the wrong crowd ;) :D

I don't know why you want to download and install TVersity when you're already streaming with other software, presumably WMP ?

You're better off installing the newer PMS media server if you want to do that, it's much more efficient at transcoding on the fly, if that's what you need to do, but we don't know what files you want to stream...

You mentioned the site 'TVShack' I'm not familiar with this service but it appears to be a TV streaming website?

Your options really are to either try playing the streams on this website directly through the PS3 web browser (may or may not work)

    or

Add the Streaming feed for this site into the Web streams/RSS config file of a streaming app like TVersity or PMS media server running on your PC. the support forums for the individual apps mentioned are probably the best place to advise on getting this feed working in a particular app.
