I'm in the market for a new tv for my boys room and the Samsung UE40EH5000 seems to tick all the boxes.

I know this tv can stream avi files from a USB stick, however I was wondering if I could also stream movies to this tv from my computer using a network cable and my homeplugs?

I know this tv doesn't connect to the internet, iplayer etc, but that you can connect a network cable to it (heard it said this may be for updating firmware?). Has anyone got this tv and are able to stream movies via a network cable or have tried this and know if it is possible or not?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Its not listed as having DLNA so seems very unlikely, you might need to go up a model in the range to get media playback via a network.
