My Panasonic smart TV is fine for TV but has a limited number of apps. I need a streaming device (like Roku or Firestick) but it must have an ethernet socket as wifi to the TV is poor. The device doesn’t need TV tuners or storage. Any recommendations?

It might help if you said what sort of functions and apps you’re intending on using such a device for, what are the must haves?

For gonzo,
The apps I am interested in are All4, My5, Chilli, Disney+, IMDBTV and others generally in the “Entertainment and Video” category.

You can also get third party Ethernet adapters for the some of the latest Roku's, all info on their website.

It sounds as though an adapter for a Roku is the way to go. Many thanks for the replies to my original post - much appreciated.
