Stream from Ipod Touch to PS3?

Hello, I've not done any streaming before but was wondering if it is possible to stream audio wirelessly from my ipod touch to the PS3 which is connected to an amp and speakers?

If this is not possible am I right in thinking I can stream audio from my Windows XP laptop to the PS3 wirelessly? If so what do I need?

For both the PS3 would have to be connected to the wifi router via ethernet cable?

I don't think that's possible via your iPod Touch, I don't know for sure, it would have to have some kind of DLNA server on it....

an app called imediashare available in the app store does this I think, and its free.

You can stream from you laptop wirelessly by downloading tversity, thats all fine on a wireless setup.
