got a strdb1070 yesterday, took it home, and hooked it up - to just my tv's centre and surrounds - with two hifi speakears for the fronts.

normal surround sounded good, but turned on cinema ex - B and wow!!!!!!

just one question - how do I set up speakers distances on the receiver ????????

Go into the "setup" menu using the button under the flap and then using the "< & >" buttons and the jog dial you can navigate your way through the settings and make adjustments (Same for the "Level" and "Surround" menu's if you choose to have a play with them later too). Speaker distance adjustments are just past the section where you tell it which speakers you have/don't have if I recall correctly. Takes a bit of time to get through all the settings and get it all done properly but it's well worth doing... ;)

    All the best, Kelvin.
