Hi, Just got a new Pioneer 545 and ive noticed some streaky stains on the screen when theres a dark picture on screen.
First i thought tv problems(Philip9527) but they only appear on dvd.
They look almost like someone has stuck something on the screen and peeled it off aagain leaving behind a bluish footprint.
    Anyone else got this problem?
Also on dark shots I can notice a thick band 2 thirds across the screen running vertically.
Its only noticable on dark dark movie scenes or when the Pioneer screensaver is on(very noticable then)
I think maybe the thick band could be tv related(scart socket inteference maybe), but the stains seem very odd as they are random.
    Any guesses?

i have the pioneer and have experienced none of the problems you mentioned. It could be problems with the scart, its worth spending a bit on a properly shielded one. Are you watching in RGB?
