Hey all, just recently decided I needed a new tv and decided to go cheap, so bought a 28" Alba Nicam 4:3 TV, and, well its a great tv so far, but it seems to produce strange lines constantly on screen when playing xbox, i have tried swapping to all availabe connection methods, but no luck :(

I'm trying to deduce if this is the fault of buying a cheap tv, and if to return to index and pay £50 more for the Toshiba model, or maybe im missing something here?

What do you guys think, and would a Toshiba have better picture than the Alba?

Hi there.

What sort of strange lines are they?
If they are diagonal lines running across some of the information on the screen, it could be the cable you are using.
Buy a high quality RGB cable for your xbox but first check your TV has an RGB input!
Otherwise, check to see if you get the same thing while watching normal TV or DVD's?
