Strange blue line on my lcd

Hi i require the help of someone more technically minded than myself

About 2 months ago i purchased a Sharp Aquos LC37XD1E and all was going well until this evening when i noticed this strange line.

The line is about 4 inches in from the edge of the tv and is blue and it runs from top to bottom of the screen I'm pretty sure this a major fault but i was wondering if someone could tell me how or why it's happened and what exactly it is

Sounds like the same fault as on my AOC a row of dead pixels which i'm waiting on the return of it.....try other sources first a dvd etc, if it's still there like i think it will be it's a fault.
