Hello everyone. I have been out of this game for awhile but back in it with a vengeance (translated as $ burning a hole in my pocket). I am upgrading my system to a 3D audio experience and need some feedback on amp experience. I am looking for a multi-channel amp that supports global power, i.e. 100v-240v. I live in Japan but may relocate back to the states in a year. So I need the flexibility. Don't want to wait a year to hear my music/movies!

Has anyone heard or owned one of the amps from StormAudio? The PA 14.200 or PA 8.200 are both in my sights but pubic data is scarce, which makes me a little nervous.

    Thanks for the input.

If you're back with vengeance you may want to try a different amp manufacturer. I'm pretty sure Storm Audio were bought by Auro 3D. The processors may still be available but I honestly have no idea what the fate of the amps was.

A number of amps and AVRs now support auto sensing of voltage from 110v to 240v IIRC
I know the pre pro and 2 x power amps I have do indeed have this feature.
