After all their promises about not selling more consoles than they've got etc, I've been stitched up:

"Thank you for your purchase with Ebuyer UK Ltd.

It is with deepest regret that we write to inform you that we have been unable to fulfill your above order.

Due to stock limitations we are unable to fulfill your order for the Nintendo Wii prior to Christmas. We offer our sincere apologies for any annoyance or disappointment in which this may cause.

We are expecting stock of the Nintendo Wii bundle you have selected to be available in the New Year. Should you wish to wait for this stock please leave your order on the system as it is and once stock is available this will automatically be allocated to you for dispatch.

Should your order no longer be required this can be cancelled via your online Ebuyer account within the orders section.

Once again we are very sorry that we have been unable to accommodate your order on this occasion.

    Kind Regards,

    Ebuyer Customer Support Team."

Not happy. In the meantime they're busy releasing new bundles with the same game in it to new buyers, and can't allocate a new bundle to me ahead of the Johnny-Come-Latelies.

Have you been in contact with them to discuss this? It's real bummer if they won't allocate you one of the new bundles instead.

So let me get this straight, you ordered a Wii on its own, and they have not fullfilled your order even though they have been getting in stock and selling it in bundles.

    Thats just down right nasty.

I take it you ordered that today? If you did they made it plainly obvious that they would end up taking more orders than they had stock and that a lot of them would not be sent before Xmas.

Doubt he ordered it today, his post is dated at 2:10pm and they didn't start selling until 3:55pm (ish).

After today's fiasco, regardless of who's to blame, Ebuyer will have lost quite a few customers.

I ordered bundle 6 on the 5th December. It's been sitting there as a confirmed order ever since. Very disappointing, as they seemed to be doing such a good job that I didn't put an order in anywhere else.

Why would they lose customers after today?

    • They said on the forums that it would be first come first served
    • They said you might go through checkout and not be one of the first 55 for pre Xmas delivery
    • They said you could cancel if you did not want to wait

I just kept getting the try again later screen as it was so busy (annoying) but they were pretty up front about the whole thing.

quite rightly he's annoyed that they aren't supplying his, but will be supplying people who ordered today. i'd be livid.

Wait till it sits in your living room.

Now the chase is over you'll be completely underwhelmed. I have had mine on for at most 2 hours since the 8th of dec.
