    Hi Folks

I am thinking about a plasma for the bedroom (No funny/smutty comments please)

I, do have a budget of £2500 to £3000 and have narowed down my choise to either a Hitachi or Panny

Now I have been reading the threads in the forum and others re the hitachi 42PMA400E and 42PD3000 (Or even the 32PD3000) or the Panasonic TH37PW5B.

Space is a little tight for a 42" thats why I concidered the 37" and its in between 32 and 42.

Some people have suggested getting a monitor and not a plasma TV.

If I do this what does one use for the TV side and how do they connect a DVD player, Free to view Box and VCR.

Anything else I need to concider.

i have mine in the bedroom

    connected by

    dvd > component
ntl> rgb to yuv>iscan ultra> vga on plasma
no vcr but if i did either straight into plasma from composite or composite into iscan ultra.

    all audio into amp

depending on what plasma you choose.
    dvd> component
freeview to scart imput on plamsa
    vcr to composite

    all audio into amp

    hope this helps
