    :lease:
Does anybody know how to create a CD of still images that will play on the Panasonic DMR E55?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    You can't - the E55 doesn't have JPEG compatibility.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there no other format I can save them in (either on CD or DVD) that will enable me to view pictures I have stored on the PC on the DVD?

Not on the E55 I'm afraid - JPEG compatibility is reserved for the more expensive models (E65, E95, E500) and even then it's limited to DVD-RAM or PC/SD Cards.

From a PC, you can make a DVD slide show with your still pictures. I don't mean just putting the JPEGs on a DVD, that won't work... but using an editing package to create a DVD-Video. You'll need some editing/authoring software though.

Or if you have Nero you could make a video cd of jpeg images that will probably play on the E55 (as it thinks its a vcd not a collection of jpegs). :)

I use a package called ProShow Gold which allows you to create movies of your jpegs. You can add your own background music and zoom in on the photo. Up to now I've only created mpegs but I will try out the DVD function shortly.

Thank you all for your advice.
Will try and get some software to make movies out of them.
