And I was soooo confident that the combined efforts of the air duster
and dyson would shift the little blighter, but the little green hair remains
at the bottom of the screen, waiting for every dark scene so that it
can wave its contempt for my efforts in the breeze from the fan.
Would I be correct in assuming, because of its colour and position on
screen, that it is trapped at the base of the green lcd panel? any ideas
on how to get rid of it? Nobody as yet has posted advice on how to
remove the top case from a PJ TX100. The man with the same name has
suggested removing the lamp housing, presumably to provide access for
further attempts with an air duster, any views on this? he also makes
mention of an improved air filter for this model, in view of its escalating
reputation as a dust magnet it certainly appears to need one

As PJ says it's more than likely that it got there before you bought it, why don't you get Hatachi to deal with it and get you a loaner in the mean time?
