You dirty dirty ******* I know what you were thinking when you clicked the thread :rotfl:

I have the Ace combat Flight Stick + Throttle Control for my PS2 but not knowing what would happen they were in the sunlight for a few days when we had some nice weather and the rubber has become sort of sticky, kinda like the feel of a jelly baby when you cut it open.

I was wondering if there is anything that can be done to reverse the effect the sun had on it.

Not sure if its the same problem but when I have cleaned up rubber control pads etc I have always used baby wipes and seemed to do the trick. Could be worth a go.

Had this on the handle of a cordless razor, bound the handle with black insulating tape in the end, tried white spirit to clean, no dice.

this could be a really silly suggestion but maybe not, whack it in a plastic bag in the freezer, could firm (oo-er) it all up

I fear that the UV has done it irreparable damage :( Could you try a racket grip on it? something like this? New Yonex Badminton Squash Tennis Racket Grip Black A++ | eBay

    or bike handlebar tape?
