    Hi All

I recently bought a Sony 780 receiver and I am very happy with it. It sounds very good and is a big improvement over my amp which had 2 speaker output terminals.

What I miss however is being able to put a mono radio station out through my rear speakers. I used to have all 4 speakers on the 2 terminals, but because I have now connected them seperately I can only get the sound from the front 2 and center when listening to a mono station (obviously I know). When the station transmits in stereo it comes through all my speakers and sounds great.

If I select the Hall surround sound the noise comes out of all 5 speakers, but it is very echoey, so I was wondering if there were any changes I could make in the equaliser that would have similar settings to the hall, but without the echo.

I hope you know what I am on about, but I can't explain it very well.

    Cheers for any help.
