Suddenly remember that my old VCR had a 'simulcast' feature.
this was quite a luxury on VCR's early 90's late 80's , before all programmes were broadcast in NICAM. It allowed you to record the stereo audio of say FM radio whilst recording the TV picture. Concerts etc were often broadcast like this pics on TV, sound over radio.
Then I thought.
This is what I want, multiroom or 2nd uhf out on sky is always mono, but by using an audio sender, or ipod type for in car fm trasmmitter, I could use my vcr to tune to sky, and stereo sound in, to tv via scart.
Bow if only all TV;s and LCD TV's had a Simulcast feature, watch tv and take audio from another source. Multiroom may yet work.
