Stereo amp to match Kef Ref 203

Hi,
I'm contemplating changing my current AV setup that would involve either selling my current Kef Ref set up or ideally keeping the 203's and having them within a dedicated stereo setup.

I've never really looked at stereo amps at this sort of price level but would ideally like some recomendations so that I can at least know where to start my auditions.

Thoughts?

Regards
John

Hi Nobber,
Not an Arcam fan as such, just that the AV8 et al did it for me when I was looking for a HC set-up.

Thought about the FMJ A32 but not certain if the Kef's outclass them?

Cheers

What is wrong with your current setup? The Arcam combo + Kef Ref 203 are sort of my 'dream team'.. :)

From what I have seen in tests the 203 is the easiest speaker to drive of the whole Kef Ref line. Above 30Hz its impedance stays neatly between 4 and 8 ohm, apart from a peak of 16 ohm around 2100Hz. Not many expensive speakers can claim such an easy load.

nothing in itself, just that I'm contemplating going to Genelec active for hc, so want to utilise the 203's in stereo setup, but I want to fully utilise them, hence asking for recomendations of quality stereo amps
