    Hi All,

I'm looking for recommendations for a stereo AMP to be paired with PMC DB1i's - I currently have a very(!!) old Cyrus 5 Integrated AMP. The AMP seems to struggle to drive the speakers.

I'm especially interested streaming, main source is Tidal via Sonos but I'd like to move to MQA, looking at Bluos, NAD have it semi integrated in the new range and the there is the bluesound node 2 available as a separate DAC.

    Budget c.£1k, less if possible.

Bluesound Node 2 gets a thumbs up from me, it’s a great bit of kit. I even have my CD player connected to it via the optical input. Should be able to pick one up for £400... I’d maybe look at a used/ex-demo Audiolab 8300a to go with it, or Marantz PM8005, or if you are drawn to Cyrus gear...try the Cyrus One

Thanks for the feedback, I'm asking around now and keeping an eye out for Black Friday deals. I do like the Cyrus / PMC pairing though that's not to say it can't be improved on.

Arcam FMJ A29 £699 & FMJ A39 £999 are both discounted and would work very well with your PMC’s [emoji106]
