Steam thinks its running in compatibility mode, Win7 x64 Fix.

I foud I had this issue today, it came out of nowhere, just booted my machine, ran steam and got a messege saying it's not recommended to run steam in compatability mode, so I went in search of a fix and foudn one:

To fix the issue:

1. Hit start->run->regedit
2. Go to key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers
3. Look for a entry with your path to steam.exe
4. Delete that entry
5. If you dont find it there try HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

This seems to have fixed the problem, and I thought I'd post it here to stop anyone from having to try reinstalling and giving yourself a headache etc as it doesn't work
