Hi guys,

I have been collecting for over 15 years, not so much recently due to having 3 children and moving into a new house that has ended up like the film 'Money Pit' with Tom Hanks!!!

The vast majority of the collection is Sideshow and Hot Toys.

They have all been in storage as not had anywhere to display them, but its got to the stage now where I am in need of money and these are the luxury I can no longer afford to keep.

If they came in a set, I got the full set. If there was an exclusive version, again I got that version if I could.

So my question is where do you guys go to get an idea of how much these are worth, Ive looked on here and also Eaby o get an idea. But the prices are all over the show, I'm not greedy but I want to get what they are worth.

I have a lot and once I do get an idea of prices I will post here first before anywhere else.

An idea of the some of the items I have is below. These are what I can remember off the top of my head.

Wow man, some nice pieces in there the Venom, Thanos & Spiderman pieces would go really quick & for pretty good prices thanks to the current movies helping to build on their popularity

Would be interested to see what else you have

Hi mate long time no see, you still near Mossley?
You have got some very sort after stuff there particularly the spider stuff, if you are on Facebook there are a lot of selling sites on there and I doubt you would have much trouble shifting them for a decent price. I remember you collected Star Wars stuff as well, that’s very popular these days obviously.
I’d join some of the Facebook groups and have a look at sold prices on eBay and go from there.

A lot of good ones there

Price wise, like yourself I wouldn't know where to start as like you've found 2nd hand prices do seem to be all over the place these days.

As you probably know ones that look high priced on ebay never tend to sell and auctions can be very random sometimes but sold prices if there is any can be used as a staring point for an approx price. Maybe just take it a few at a time rather than all of them at once until you get a feel for the market?

They don't seem to sell here that often these days but the good thing nowadays is you can make an advert with a chance of some selling and also advertise them elsewhere at the same time if you want to as long as you keep your ad upto date

Good luck with your sales :)

Hi mate,

No not in Mossley anymore, moved to Saddleworth now. One of the reasons why Im having to sell some of these as its costing me a fortune due to ongoing work.

Thanks, thankfully the characters I liked are getting very popular now so hopefully be able to slim the collection down some.
I moved away from Star Wars, there were releasing just so much I couldn't keep up and wanted to concentrate on one particular line and Marvel took precedent!

Thanks for the Facebook idea, Ive joined a few and so ill see what interest I get there and use it to get an idea of price.

Thanks Gam,

I'll create an advert for a couple I know I won't mind letting go and see how it goes.

I think I got a little obsessive in the early days (before Kids when I had spare cash)
