“After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to continue on with subsequent seasons of Party Down and Gravity,” says Stephan Shelanski, executive vice president of programming for Starz Entertainment. “We’re grateful to everyone involved in the shows, and are proud to have had them on the channel. Starz remains committed to aggressively expanding our original programming lineup.”

The more original programming you make the more often the chopper is used:)

Shame about Gravity, quirky but fun.

I thought Gravity was renewed early on ... must have been a different show. Such a shame, and what a cliffhanger ending!

Party Down was superb ... very much in the vein of The Office (UK), more so than the US version - no surpise it was cancelled, as two of the stars are now signed up with other shows (Adam Scott will continue to be in Parks & Recreation as Leslie Knope's love interest; and the blonde bloke from Veronica Mars is with another show)
