Hi all,

Looking to buy a new TV for Xmas but am completely out of the loop wrt the latest models. I was wondering if you guys could kindly throw a few recommendations my way in terms of some solid 50"+ models under £500 to start researching. TV mainly used for (in order of priority);

- TV watching (upscaling, etc.)
- HD/blu-ray movies
- Gaming
- Wireless connectivity

Many Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion.

Looks like a great TV for the money and Crampton & Moore are doing it for £489.

Agreed, it looks like the decent 50+ inchers start at over the £700 mark.

Ask John Lewis to price match, Personally I'd always choose to purchase from them if possible :) although they may not as C&M offer only a year warranty, vs JL's 5

Forgot the price but the 50H6200 was not too expensive and is basically a stripped down 6400 ...

John Lewis just price matched me for the 5500 from crampton, I see the 6200 is £490 in crampton but sadly not a tv JL stock
