    Hi all,
Anyone got any sensible suggestions for a reasonable 5.1 processor and speaker package. Second hand or ex dem. Budget of £500 excluding cabling?

    Thanks

You can get some pretty good stuff for that amount of money.
    If you split it £250/£250
    Recieverd:
You would be hard pressed to do better than this for the money

(unfortunatly they have no stock, but if you find one fopr around the same price it's a bargin!)

    Otherwise
Cambridge audio Azur although it's lost some ground now

    Or

    As for the speakers:
The Tannoys are decent espectialy for the price

But Peter Tyson have "Mordaunt Short Avant Premiere system - Marantz badged version - call £ 279.90 "
Which again is difficult to beat.

The Marantz and Mordaunt Short pack alough a few £££'s over budget would be excellent for a starter.
