    you'd think anyone remotely interested in the special edition series, would have long since bought it on video, or borrowed it off a mate that had. It would be interesting to find out the viewing figures these advert-infested versions get.

    i'll be sticking it on the sky+,being a massive star wars fan it'll be handy to have it at hand,the video's long gone

    when these were on sky movies a while back, they were all 16.9

    tonites showing was marred by all those ad breaks!

    I saw Star Wars loads of times back in the 70's. I didn't think much of this 'improved version'. The added CGI effects looked very CGI. And the original Death Star explosion was far more effective IMO.

    But at least the image quality was a vast improvement on the last Star Wars print I saw shown on tv about 5 years ago. It was starting to look discoloured and washed out.
