Watched it last night, first time in about 20 years. I am sure that the voice actor for C3PO was Tony Blair - have a listen.

Yes its true, R2D2 is played by Ian Duncan Smith and the third Stormtrooper from the left is Norman Tebbitt.

They showed Star Wars on ITV the other night and I recorded it for the kids.

Eager to point out the part where the stormtroopers storm the contol room and one bangs his head on the door i wound the kids up with my ' amazing' knowledge of films.

They cut it!

How daft did i feel

Duh - everyone knows that Anthony Daniels did C3PO and Tony Blair is the Teletubbies narrator and sings in the song.

Hate to disagree...but the stormtrooper banging his head was in the version screened on ITV.

I was watching out for it, and when I saw it I noticed how a radio crackle from one of the other stormtroopers happens at the exact moment the other one bangs his bonce...thus making it even more obvious cos it sounds like the crack of a helmet on a doorway (oo-err).

BTW - I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but bugger all was on, and I felt like watching it and I knew about the "head-banging" scene, and wanted to see it again.
