It was rumoured that he OS boxsets would be coming out in tandem with the Voyager sets, but it doesn't seem likely now. You'll have to way for seven lame Voyager seasons to be released until the OS set.

I was collecting the R1 versions but seeing as there are 40 discs to collect if you want all 3 Seasons it works out cheaper to just wait for the boxsets to be released over here.

Box sets released in the UK in 2004, Immediately following "Voyager".

Shame on Paramount - considering the debt the studio owes to the original series, they should have been released here long ago.

Won't be buying "Voyager" (Yawn!), so roll on Captain Kirk and Co!

Apparently the new "Voyager" box sets will contain episodes of the original "Classic" Trek. Including the rather superb "City on the Edge of Forever".

Think they're trying to woo over the late-comers to "Trek" who won't normally give the old series a look in?

I bet only Season 1 will contain an extra disc with episodes of TOS. Reason they have done this is without it the Boxset there would only be 5 Discs and they would have to lower the price of the set so instead of doing that they just stuck in another Disc and left the price at the normal £58.99 but seeing as the later Seasons all have enough episodes to fill up 7 Discs I doubt they will be included an 8th Disc with another 2 episodes of TOS, would be nice if they did but I dont see it happening.
