Silver Screen in the Bentalls centre in Kingston upon Thames has the special edition versions of the first 6 Star Trek movies for £6.99 each. I think it may have been a pricing error, because the vanilla releases had the same price.

I've put the entire first line of your post in Google and drawn a blank.
I'm guessing this is a very 'local' offer for 'local people'.

Ah, Silverscreen as one whole word. Turns out there are a few around the Midlands.
Will report back if I find the same price in Coventry.

I've just bought ST SE 2 & 5 from Amazon UK for £8 and £9 for those that are looking for this series.

Amazon.co.uk have all the SEs one to five for less than £9 but SE 6 is £17.99 and that would be the bargain here as I don't expect anywhere else to have it at less than a tenner until the January sales kick in.

I don't understand your post. Is something missing eg a link to a website selling these discs at your quoted prices?

    Regards Farmnut

CD-WOW are now selling them for £7.99 each. With the forum's discount link, they're nearly the same price. :)

CD-WOW are not selling Star Trek 6 at that price and it's that film which is the bargain if Silver Screen are putting them out at £6.99.

I picked up both these films from Silverscreen in the Manchester Trafford Centre today at £6.99 each. But the shop did say that I had snapped up the last two at that price.

Thanks for the tip. Regards Farmnut

Aretak, You must have been right and fortunately I've been checking back.
Have now found the SEs 1 to 6 at CDWOW USA for $12.95 each. There is a $2 discount link out there which is easy to find which brings the price down to $10.95. At the checkout I selected to pay in Sterling as the CDWow exchange rate is currently $1.80 to £1.00. Works out at £6.10 delivered. Mine arrived today and can confirm they are the proper British R2 SEs with slip cases and all. Brilliant!

And without using a discount link they are $89 hk at cdwow.com.hk, about the same price.

Anyone care to enlighten me on how to get to any of the non UK cdwow sites.

No matter what I type in as a URL, including www.cdwow.com.hk, I always end up at what I assume is the UK site, all prices shown in £sterling.

    TIA,

    KJR.

Forgetting that you can pick up Star Trek 6 on the Web for at least half that price, as people above have said, £17.99 wouldn't be a bargain even if it was a brand new release!
