Does anyone know good (cheap!) supplier for Star Trek box sets. Caught a couple of episodes on tv lately and remembered how much I enjoyed it. Thought I might treat myself for xmas! Next Generation, DS9 and Voyager have all had dvd release I think.......Don't really mind which......Just want to give it the HC treatment................:smashin:

Try and get the Next Gen. Borg boxet- £338 for all 7 seasons, plus a clock in a nifty Borg Cube (1:1 size) :p

    Works out £48 per season.

DS9 has also been released, but don't think all seasons yet. Voyager is un-released as yet.

Good price but the missus would crucify me if I spent that kinda money. Any ideas for good prices for one season at a time?

You might want to get the R1 versions (quite a few people notice Pal speed up on R2 boxsets)

    Next Gen/DS9 boxsets...
    DVD Soon- £67
    DVD Empire- £58 plus shipping

Season 5 and onwards of DS9 are a bit cheaper from DVD Soon (being pre-orders) work out at £56

I would seriously consider buying the Borg cube, you're gonna save a total of £131 if you buy it (rather than all 7 seasons seperatly) also the Borg cube is limited to 1000 worldwide.

Playusa & Amazon.com will get done by customs
    DVDpricecompare isn't finding ST boxsets.

[edit] just noticed- the Borg cube is R2 only :( wonder if a R1 boxset will be released?

    Virgin's deal has now changed.

TNG boxsets are £79.99 each, but buy one and get one free. That's only £40 each, which beats HMVs £45 each.

It's still not as good as £35 each though. :(

I've just had a look on www.find-dvd.co.uk and I think you'll be lucky to get cheaper.

Had a look round a couple of R1 sites, and they seem to work out around £50

    DVD Pacific

... and then add the dreaded import duty!!

Why are Trek TV series box sets so bloody expensive (even R!)?!!

I never had this problem with the likes of Millennium, Sledge Hammer!, Arrested Development, Friends, Firefly, The Dead Zone, Starsky & Hutch, The Shield, 24, Alias, Law & Order, Battlestar Galactica, Seinfeld,... etc... (all around £15 or less R1/R2 when I ordered them via the usual R2 sites or DVD Pacific/Import/Soon)

Must be those ******s at Paramount, knocking the final nails into the coffin of the franchise that was once their main cash cow.
