It's inspired me to have a go.

I read up how to do it this arvo, trying it now in the back garden using a time lapse setting (no foreground subject this time - just to see if I can get the trails)

Brilliant... Just be aware of light pollution in and around towns etc, slightest bit can have a huge impact and ruin a photo. I'm currently laid in a field with the camera going :) will post tomorrow

1st attempt - not great, but at least it worked :)

Loads of aircraft trails, light pollution and plenty of hot pixels (almost didn't bother posting it)



I don't really fancy lying in a field somewhere, and I can't think of any interesting foreground subject nearby.

I may park the idea of star trail photos until I'm somewhere more inspiring :smashin:
