I'm looking at getting a Quad L-ite setup but need to mount the rear speakers on some stands that I can somehow attach the speaker to that will not come off and hit the deck if the dog or kids give it a bash. Any ideas?

I understand the Quads have 3 holes on the back if you want to use wall brackets which I can't.

Someone must have come up with the same sort of issue.:lease:

I tried to find something similar a while back without success.
The only stand mounts I could find with any sort of fixing for the rear were flimsy satellite stands like they sell in Argos.
I eventually got some big square double sided sticky foam pads from a DIY store and used them between the base of the speakers and the top plate of the floor stands.
Worked a treat. Wasn't so easy to remove when I came to sell the speakers though!

I guess they were something like the sticky pad things that Halfords sell for attaching car numberplates? I know they come in 2 different thicknesses and stick like something to a blanket..................

    Cheers,

    Andy.
