Question Stands for KEF LSX

Just a new born here on AV forums, this being my first post so treat me gently......

Just ordered a pair of KEF LSX wireless speakers.
Looking for a set of stands for them, but not willing to spend £400 (or near half the price of the speakers) on the KEF LS50 stands, which may be to large anyway.

i have noticed the speakers come with a fixing screw hole in the base so a stand i could clamp onto for stability (four kids, a dog,two cats and a multitudy of rats roaming the place) would be ideal.
Also got to be in white (also have a wife) so the asthetics are important:)

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance:thumbsup:

Looks like the centre threaded hole is meant for the studio tripod stand which tend not to be SWMBO friendly.

You could use something like the Atacama Nexus 6i or 7i (60cm or 70cm), drill a hole in the top and add a bolt.

Assuming it is a 1/4” tripod screw, 6,5mm hole in top plate will do the job, make a template of the bottom of the speaker in paper/card to help get the hole in the right place - 1/4" Tripod Mount Stand Screw to Flash Hot Shoe Adapter For Camera PTZ Telescope | eBay

Alternatively just put some foam double sided sticky pads under neath.

Nice, let us know how they go and if they get SWMBO approval.

If you remove the top plate you can fill the main column for extra weight, dry play sand is often suggested but would use then as is and see how you go.
