I was looking at them this morning but was a bit miffed with the slow write speeds!

    Write speeds doesn't equal performance.

The M500 will perform like any SSD for general use - you'll see no performance improvement going to an 840 Pro, for example, unless you're using it to transfer uncompressed 2K Video, which I doubt you'd be doing on a 240GB SSD anyway.

I have 6 crucial m4/m500 ssd's. Performance is amazing. You will not notice a difference in real life utilization. Plus it run marvel very reliable.

240gb for £90 brand new, I would bite their handsome off.

I got a new & boxed samsung 830 ssd 256gb model number is MZ-7PC256N/EU. It is the notebook edition bundle with norton ghost 15 and usb to sata transfer cable to clone your existing drive
Not sure if what are after in terms of speed but I got it several christmas ago, never used and has been in storage since, unused & still manufacturer sealed. It would have one year remain warranty but cant find receipt which was stuck to box so unfortunately cant transfer that to yourself.
If what looking for then feel free to drop me a message price £98 including RM special delivery (cant post until Friday however)
(sorry my bad thought my previous thread price before was excluding postage - ammended above - thanks below)
