    All excellent but really like the Bee eater.

    Pity you clipped the tail on the first one though.

    All very nice, but I'd pick the leopard as my favourite. Like the eye contact, and the great contrast of the fur against the sand.

    Actually the colours look more natural in this one as well.

    Like them all but I do enjoy the big cats, that's a great one there of the leopard

    I really like the leopard shot, but I think the colours and details on the birds make them the stand out shots.

    No Tigers of the Tamil variety then? :eek::D

    great photos.

    can you help us we are looking forward to going to sri lanka in may and it looks like a lot of the places you visited are some of the points of interested that has been highlighted as a must see.

    what tour firm did you use and what was your initineray and any tips you have to pass on to us.

    sorry to highjack this thread but it looks such a great opportunity to talk to someone who has the same interest as us

    Elephant is excellent.

    Love the scorpion but feel you could have got a little closer :D

    Wonderful images there Jenufa. I particularly like the second Indidan Roller you posted as I think the colours are fantastic. The leopard is a great capture too - very brave!

    I like all of the shots but the two scorpion shots and the pied kingfisher stand out for me.

    BTW The fact that the scorpion has large claws means it is not very poisonous. :lesson: :D How big was it?

    It was about five inches but I never had a prob with it, just healthy respect:)

    I'm no bird expert by any means but I think you may have 2 and 3 round the wrong way.

    Crocs are my favorite animals! :eek: true though
    sadly they only have tiny ones at Chester zoo
