I have made an assortment of mains cables over the years, with varying amounts of sucess. My interest has been started off again on something Gordon said to me the other day.

I am familiar with the TNT snake and Kimber stuff but have various ideas of my own. These were put on hold 18 months ago as I couldn't find any screened mains cable to experiment with. Does anyone know a good source in the UK?

Hi, Not sure if this makes any difference to the "sound" of equipment, but I used the same Rs cable to power my Projector mainly to negate any effect of interference with other cables, seems to work fine although it is slightly thicker than standard cable. I believe there were two sizes and I choice the smaller.
