I think I am in the correct forum for this question. Has anyone managed to get their Marantz SR5200 remote controlling their sky digibox (Pace in my case)?

Has anyone managed to get this to work with a Pace Digi box yet ? If so, what's the code please.

I've also tried all the listed Toshiba codes for my TV, however despite 2 of the codes appearing to work, i.e. turn the TV off, etc. no button allows me to change AV channel, any ideas please ?

There is a forum on here for remote controls.

You may have more luck posting in there.

I did have a Marantz 4200 and I couldn't get the remote to work with my Sky box (a Sony) either.

In the end I gave up and used my Phillips universal remote instead. :(

Ive just encountered this. Since you posted has anyone shed light on this?

I have the panasonic and the code didnt work for that. I may ring uop today if I can find a number and see what the point of having Sat codes when they dont work (I am assuming they are for US satellite or analogue satellite boxes, which isnt very UK friendly)

Now have an answer from Marantz here it is (to save you reading teh RC5200 for the SR5200 does not control any digibox):
    "Dear Mr. *****,

Sorry for this late answer but it's a holiday season.

When we define the code set of this remote, we have tested with following Panasonic's digital tuners but not with the one you've got.

    - TZ-DBS01
    - TZ-DB501B
    - TU-IRD10

Engineering department confirmed that the TU-DSB31 was not reacting "0728" code set nor anyother code implemented in the SR5200's remote. This tuner ["Im assuming he means remote"] was developed as for UK's SKY satellite receiver and all those tuners work with one unified code set regardless the manufacturer. When we have developed the remote we hadn't got this SKY's code set in our hand["Hmm despite it being around for about 6 years"] therefore we could not implemented it. We will seriously consider to implement the code set for the UK's satellite service for our future products.

I'm sorry that the investigation resulted only confirming incompatibility with your machine but please understand it is very difficult to realise 100% compatibility with pre-coded type of remote control. Not only few manufacturers change the whole or part of code set for time to time by various reason.

    Best Regards,

    ****** *******
    Product Manager, Marantz Europe BV"
