Are we experiencing a fashion for unfathomable posts?

    lol.

On Unix time is measured in seconds. It's counted from Jan 1 1970.

It's a co-incidence that the number of seconds this Friday the 13th is 1234567890.

You need to be wearing and anorak and national health glasses with a piece of plaster on the corner to understand this!

Does that include the occasional 'extra second' that 'they' insert every now and then (as they did this New year's Eve) to account for the Earth's wobble? I know it may be only a few seconds one way or another, but I would like to be spooked at the right moment.

Its a shame that the posts only give the time in hours and minutes, otherwise we could all have a little game trying to post at the exact moment.

Wasn't sure if the date it started from was the same, so didn't mention it.
